Kefalonia is the sixt largest Greek Island, with 786 square km of area. Destroyed from an Earthquake in 1953 today has been fully rebuilted and subjected to a fast development of the  tourism market. Geological attraction are the Droganati and Melissani Grotto. Archeological Museums of Argostoli and Naval Museum of Fiskardo, Natural History Museum of Kefalonia and Itaca and the San Gerasimos Monastery.
